Static Caravan Recordings bring you a double A-side remix 7”. Originally on Diagrams debut EP, Antelope has been pulled apart and put back together by both the brilliant Discopolis and Ghosting Season, to bring you this very limited and exclusive release.
Ghosting Season have been causing waves in blog world, wowing with their incredible live shows and entertaining everyone with their satirical twitter accounts. The duos brand of dark brooding electronica with a great deal of heart helps spread their appeal further than the nieche market you’d expect.
Not to be outdone Scottish threesome Discopolis have already played some fantastic line-ups, including Reading and Leeds festivals, North Atlantic Oscillation and Miaoux Miaoux. Drawing praise from the likes of Pete Tong it seems its only time until they break out into the public eye.
Diagrams self titled EP showed a new direction for Sam Genders (previously in Tunng) and was met with praise and anticipation for the full length album, eloquently described in the NME as: ‘Like Broadcast remapped by James Blake. Sparsely expressed, yet drenched in optimism’ – (8/10)
Static Caravan’s friendship with Sam goes all the way back to when we released the first Tunng records, our paths have been entwined ever since. We have also worked alongside our friends Full Time Hobby on a variety of other acts. Erland and the Carnival, The Accidental to name two.
Diagrams’ full length was released in early 2012.
